Formación

• Más de 5 años de experiencia en liderazgo de equipos de desarrollo de software.

Software Company

• We are seeking a TEAM LEAD NODE.JS & REACT DEVELOPMENT for a Software Company in Barcelona (Hybrid. 2 / 3 days per week on remote)
• This is a stable position with a permanent contract directly with the software company (we will handle the selection process)
• This is a hybrid position, with 2 or 3 days a week of work in their offices in central Barcelona, and another 2 or 3 days a week remotely. In the longer term, it’s possible that you’ll only be required to come to their offices one day a week or be fully remote
• They are seeking a Head / Team Lead of Software Development to establish and lead their Software Business Unit in Spain. You will play a key role in defining their software strategy, managing a growing team, and ensuring technical excellence
• In this role, you will report to the Director of Software Development and have the exciting opportunity to develop their software operations from the ground up.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

• Define and execute the technical vision and strategy for software development
• Drive innovation by evaluating and implementing new technologies and methodologies
• Ensure best practices in software architecture, security, and scalability
• Participate in hands-on development and peer code reviews when necessary

Team Management & Growth:

• Lead and mentor a team of 7/8+ talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning
• Ensure team members have the necessary resources, support, and growth opportunities
• Play a key role in recruiting and onboarding new team members to strengthen the engineering unit

Progress Supervision & Delivery:

• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery
• Manage project planning, execution, and risk mitigation to meet deadlines and business objectives
• Ensure development processes are efficient and aligned with agile methodologies

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with Product Management, Business Management, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams
• Align technical efforts with business goals and customer needs
• Engage with key clients and partners to ensure software solutions meet their expectations

Condiciones salariales: The salary range could be 60.000 – 75.000 depending on experience. But it’s just OUR estimate. The company hasn’t given us any salary range.

Requisitos:

• Experience of > 5 years in a similar position (Team Lead, Project Manager, Head of Software Development…)
• Holding a similar position in the past. Experience in managing software projects and organizations as well as international projects. Experience in managerial work, recruitment and software development subcontracting. Experience in software process development
• Experience as Developer working with Node.JS, React, PostgreSQL and Azure
• Proficiency in Spanish and English, other language skills are considered an advantage
