Error Management (German Speaker & Automotive Sector)

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Error Management Specialist to join a cutting-edge project in the automotive sector, focusing on error handling within critical driving systems such as drivetrain, braking, and steering. If you’re experienced in both the technical and coordination sides of problem resolution, this role is for you!

Project Overview

You’ll be part of a high-impact team responsible for managing and resolving error tickets across various vehicle lines. This includes :

  • Managing and prioritizing error tickets related to the dry system for each vehicle series.
  • Leading the error resolution process from pre-analysis to root cause identification.
  • Overseeing error status across vehicle lines and coordinating with development teams.
  • Reporting in management meetings and providing updates via live dashboards.
  • Participating in key milestone meetings with board-level stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end error management process :
  • Track, prioritize, and follow up on issues.
  • Ensure timely involvement of the right teams.
  • Conduct pre-analysis and root cause identification.
  • Coordinate the implementation of fixes at the component level.
  • Define and follow up on verification methods.
  • Deliver clear and timely reporting using tools like Power BI and KPM.
  • Attend weekly status meetings and milestone decision committees.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Informatics, or similar.

Languages

  • German – C1

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in the automotive sector .
  • Hands-on experience in SW or HW development in at least one of the following driving systems : Drivetrain, Braking, Steering, Wheel control, Driving dynamics, Driving control
  • Previous experience with Porsche or Volkswagen Group is highly valued.
