Job summary

Kaino, a specialized recruitment firm, is hiring an ERP / Application Support Specialist for an international food company, to strengthen its internal IT support capabilities and support the continuous improvement of its business applications.

Based in Barcelona, you will provide day-to-day support across Purchasing, Finance and Inventory, troubleshoot ERP issues and manage tickets. Fluency in English and strong SQL skills are required for this client-facing, hybrid role.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in Application/ERP Support or similar role.
• Hands-on with an ERP system such as SAP Business One or comparable solution.
• Good understanding of Purchasing, Finance and Inventory processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with ticketing systems.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Comfortable translating functional issues into technical solutions.
• ERP implementation/configuration or upgrades are a plus.
• Exposure to integrations and automation is a plus.
• Fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to internal users across Purchasing, Finance and Inventory.
• Investigate application issues, identify root causes and ensure timely resolution.
• Understand ERP configuration and troubleshoot functional or technical issues.
• Manage and follow up support tickets with clear communication to users.
• Support ERP-related integrations, automations and system improvements.
• Collaborate with IT and Business Operations to resolve user needs.
• Assist in ERP changes, system updates and new user onboarding.
• Participate in ERP improvement initiatives and smaller IT projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for escalations.
• Maintain clear documentation of incidents, resolutions and system changes.

Missions

• Provide day-to-day support to internal users across key business areas such as Purchasing, Finance and Inventory
• Investigate application issues, identify root causes and ensure timely resolution
• Understand ERP configuration and troubleshoot functional or technical issues
• Manage and follow up support tickets, ensuring clear communication with users
• Support ERP-related integrations, automations and system improvements
• Work closely with Business Operations and IT teams to understand user needs and resolve system issues
• Support configuration changes, system updates and new user onboarding
• Participate in ERP improvement initiatives and smaller IT projects
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners when escalation is required
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions and system changes

Requirements

• Around 3 to 6 years of experience in Application Support, ERP Support or a similar role
• Hands-on experience with an ERP system such as SAP Business One or a comparable solution
• Good understanding of business processes related to Purchasing, Finance and Inventory
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Experience working with ticketing systems
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Comfortable working directly with business users and translating functional issues into technical solutions
• Experience with ERP implementation, configuration or system upgrades is highly appreciated
• Exposure to integrations and automation is a plus
• Fluent English required
• Autonomous, service-oriented and comfortable working in an international environment
