A leading company seeks an environmental expert with extensive experience in environmental impact assessments to join a core team for a project in Bulgaria. The role requires strong qualifications in Environmental Science and relevant tools, along with a good command of English. Candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with EU regulations and conducting assessments for renewable energy projects.

Formación

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or Environmental Engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in environmental and social impact assessments.

Responsabilidades

• Support the core team during the implementation of the environmental project in Bulgaria.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments for energy and industrial projects.

NTU International A / S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called : Public Sector Loan Facility Advisory for the Maritsa East Complex and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

Location : Bulgaria.

Duration : The intended start date is July 2025 (the “ Start Date ”) and the period of implementation of the Assignment will be 20 months from this date (the “ Period of Implementation ”).

Qualifications and skills :

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or Environmental Engineering ( minimum requirement ).
• Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English ( minimum requirement ).
• Proficiency in GIS and environmental impact modelling tools will be considered an asset .

General professional experience :

• At least 10 years of professional experience in environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA) for energy and industrial projects ( minimum requirement ).

Specific professional experience :

• Expertise in EU environmental regulations, permitting, and impact mitigation strategies will be considered will be considered an asset .
• Experience conducting Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA) and EIA compliance assessments for renewable energy and industrial projects will be considered an asset .
