TecnoRenova is strengthening its Environmental & Quality team in Galicia, Spain, by hiring a professional to support a renewable energy project. You will drive continuous improvement in environmental management, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote sustainability aligned with company policies.

You will implement ISO 14001 practices, conduct audits with the main contractor, monitor KPIs, manage waste and environmental services, and address non-conformities to achieve environmental objectives.

Formación

• Higher Vocational Qualification in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Health, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in environmental management within a company.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the implementation of best practices, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting sustainability initiatives.
• Deploy and implement corporate environmental policies and guidelines across the business.
• Define and implement standardized environmental best practice models.
• Ensure ISO 14001 EMS implementation and conduct audits with the main contractor.
• Identify, assess and monitor environmental aspects and impacts; define preventive and corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and applicable administrative requirements.
• Monitor, analyze and report environmental KPIs, performance and objectives.
• Manage environmental services including waste management and monitoring.
• Manage non-conformities by documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.

You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in environmental management, ensuring regulatory compliance, implementing best practices, and achieving environmental objectives aligned with the company's policies and standards.

What will you do?

• Ensure the effective environmental management of operational facilities by leading the implementation of best practices, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting sustainability and biodiversity initiatives.
• Deploy and implement the company's corporate environmental policies and guidelines across the business.
• Define and implement standardized environmental best practice models.
• Ensure the proper implementation of the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) and conduct audits together with the main contractor.
• Identify, assess, and monitor environmental aspects and impacts, defining preventive and corrective measures where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and applicable administrative requirements.
• Monitor, analyze, and report environmental KPIs, performance, and objectives.
• Manage environmental services, including waste management, environmental monitoring, and related activities.
• Manage non-conformities by identifying issues, documenting findings, and ensuring the implementation of effective corrective actions.

What are we looking for?

• Higher Vocational Qualification (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Health, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in environmental management within a company (experience in the energy or industrial sector will be considered an advantage).

Technical Knowledge
