We are seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead the development and execution of large-scale environmental assessments for infrastructure and renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams, developing business strategies, and navigating complex public administrative processes.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental regulatory frameworks in Spain and the European Union, as well as extensive experience working with public authorities and leading technical and financial management of projects. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent organizational and project management skills, commercial acumen, and proficiency in both Spanish and English languages.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead multidisciplinary teams in the development and execution of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA)
• Design and implement business development strategies, including identifying new business opportunities
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, especially public administrations at national and regional levels
• Oversee and coordinate the processing of various environmental permits
• Ensure regulatory compliance with national and European environmental legislation
• Manage environmental monitoring programs during construction and operational phases of projects

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• University degree in Environmental Sciences, Biology, Forestry Engineering, or related fields
• Postgraduate studies in Environmental Management highly valued; MBA or equivalent business-related education is a strong asset
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in environmental consulting, with demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams in EIA
• Deep knowledge of environmental regulatory frameworks in Spain and the European Union
• Proven experience in environmental permitting procedures and navigating public administrative processes
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple high-complexity projects simultaneously
• Commercial acumen and experience in client-facing roles and business strategy development
• Extensive experience working with public authorities (territorial services, general environmental directorates, etc.)
