Skydance Animation is seeking an Environment Modeling Artist to join our Madrid studio. You will collaborate with Production Designer, Art and Layout teams to deliver a compelling first look for environments, translating concepts into tangible, storyboard-driven worlds.

You should bring 3–5 years in the VFX industry, at least 1 year in animation, and strong knowledge of surfacing, shading, skinning, rigging, and optimization.

Formación

• 3-5 years in VFX industries.
• At least 1 year of experience in the animation industry.
• Knowledge of surfacing, shading, skinning, rigging, technical constraints and optimization.
• Drawing and painting is a plus.
• Medium-high English level.
• Spanish desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Creates models, utilizing photography and pre-existing models.
• Models from concepts following the look of the show.
• Has the ability to create, adapt, and iterate within a variety of artistic styles.
• Keeps up on current artistic methodologies and technology trends and tools that best suit the production and the company in the development of a stronger creative and technical environment.
• Collaborates with other team members when necessary.
• Follows the Supervisor’s and Lead's guidance.
