A leading global power technology company is seeking an Electrical Safety Specialist (HSE) in Madrid. The role involves developing and delivering electrical safety programs, driving continuous improvement and engagement with key stakeholders to enhance safety standards across the organization.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in HSE in a global organization.
• Excellent knowledge of HSE regulatory requirements.
• Capable of working autonomously.

Descripción del empleo

Position : Electrical Safety Specialist (HSE)

Location : Madrid, Spain

Profile :

You will be joining the team as a Global Electrical Safety Specialist and play a crucial role in enhancing company safety structures. You will be supporting, developing, and delivering electrical safety improvement programs, initiatives, and practices which align with the business and operational strategies.

The team you will be joining is global and allows you to engage with a diverse group of perspectives and cultures.

• Contribute to improving electrical safety performance and provide excellent services to HSE and operations teams across the company.
• Support key stakeholders to ensure the delivery and implementation of core and common safety programs aligned with the Annual Operating Plan and HSE Road Map
• Drive behavioral change to continuously improve safety performance within the company.
• Facilitate the sharing of electrical safety best practices within the organization
• Act as a role model to deliver and support electrical safety initiatives to improve culture
• Coach and mentor the HSE community on electrical safety programs
• Influence management and employees to ensure correct thinking and decision-making to support the implementation of electrical safety programs
• Analyze electrical safety performance to identify trends and priorities
• University-level education in a relevant discipline (e.g., electrical engineering, industrial manufacturing / processes, IOSH certificate or equivalent)
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in an HSE function in a global organization
• Excellent knowledge of HSE regulatory requirements (e.g., Legislation, OHSAS18001, ISO14001)
• Ability to successfully support, persuade, and influence senior management teams in a highly matrixed environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of working autonomously with remote and global teams and delivering in complex working environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
