Acttiv is looking for a Head of Entertainment to lead teams and coordinate activities in the picturesque Canary Islands. The role includes planning entertainment programs, providing support to team members, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for guests. Ideal candidates will have experience in tourism entertainment, fluency in Spanish and English, and a vibrant, organized, and innovative personality. • Previous experience as head of entertainment for at least one season.
• Excellent proficiency in Spanish and English; other languages are a plus.

There are paradises… and then there are the Canary Islands. A land of permanent summer, dream beaches, and natural parks, these islands are popular in Spain and across Europe. Due to the constant influx of visitors, Acttiv is seeking entertainment managers to lead our team of entertainers and coordinate activities alongside the area coordinator. Your Responsibilities as Head of Entertainment

• Launch the program of daytime and evening activities.
• Organize the schedules of entertainers (teams of 1-28 members).
• Report entertainment activities to Acttiv.
• Adhere to Acttiv’s quality policy.
• Support your team’s entertainers’ needs.
• Attend and participate in company training sessions.
• Join meetings with other entertainment leaders in your area.
• Monitor time recording.
• Obtain positive reviews to enhance the online reputation of the establishment.

You will also have time to enjoy yourself and develop your PR skills by participating in shows and interacting with guests from around the world.

Requirements

• Previous experience as head of entertainment for at least one season.
• Excellent proficiency in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Education related to tourist entertainment or tourism is valued but not essential.
• Proficiency in office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Availability for at least one year from your start date.
