A leading cybersecurity firm is seeking an Enterprise Sales Engineer to support their sales team across Spain and Portugal. This role involves engaging with prospects, delivering product demonstrations, and collaborating with sales teams. Candidates should have extensive experience in a similar role, fluency in Spanish and English, and a strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions. Frequent travel across the Iberia region is required.

Formación

  • 7+ years in a Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or similar role in cybersecurity.
  • At least 2 years hands-on experience with Networking and Systems.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

About the Role

The Enterprise Sales Engineer – Iberia will play a critical role in supporting Pentera’s Enterprise Sales team across Spain and Portugal. In this role, you will engage directly with prospects, introduce cutting-edge technology, and provide technical leadership throughout the sales process. This is a unique opportunity to gain deep experience in the Pentesting world, working with leading security teams in a wide range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate deep understanding and technical knowledge in cybersecurity and enterprise environments
  • Lead customer engagements : introduction calls, deep-dive technical sessions, and product walk-throughs
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify leads, build strategies, and convert opportunities
  • Deliver product demonstrations (remote and in-person) to highlight both technical and business value
  • Work closely with channel partners to strengthen customer relationships
  • Analyze customer requirements and tailor Pentera’s solution to meet their needs
  • Represent Pentera at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings across Iberia
  • Support product evaluations, implementations, and post-sale success

Requirements :

  • 7+ years in a Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Professional Services role, preferably in a cybersecurity startup supporting enterprise accounts.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken); Portuguese is strongly preferred.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Networking and Systems (Linux, Windows, Cloud, Docker infrastructure, Active Directory, troubleshooting).
  • Strong foundation in IT infrastructure, including OS (Windows, Linux), Networks, and Active Directory.
  • Deep understanding of network security concepts, cybersecurity methodologies, and Microsoft network protocols.
  • Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Exceptional time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities
  • Availability for frequent travel across Spain and Portugal ( 50% of the time)
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a talent for building trust-based customer relationships and energizing technical conversations
  • Preferred Skills

  • Practical experience in penetration testing or vulnerability scanning
  • Deep understanding of network security concepts
  • Experience with Microsoft network protocols
