Enterprise Architecture Consultant (ABACUS) – Remote (EU / India) or Hybrid (Madrid)

Start: ASAP – ideally early May

Location: Europe or India (remote). Hybrid possible if based in Madrid (2 days / week onsite)

Project Overview

We are supporting a large-scale internal IT transformation initiative focused on Enterprise Architecture optimization. The client has already implemented the ABACUS tool, and the next step is to evolve and tailor it further to meet the needs of a fast-changing organization.

You will join a strategic team responsible for enhancing the tool both technically (backend customization, scripting, performance) and functionally (dashboards, documentation, usability).

Key Responsibilities

1. Understand the current ABACUS setup and quickly take ownership of its evolution
2. Customize and reconfigure the backend using basic Python scripts
3. Create dynamic and visually impactful dashboards using ABACUS and Power BI
4. Write clear and user-friendly documentation and user guides in Confluence
5. Collaborate with enterprise architecture stakeholders and translate business needs into technical enhancements

Your Profile

Experience (5 years):

1. Configuration and evolution of complex enterprise tools (e.g., ABACUS, ERP, architecture platforms)
2. Scripting with Python for backend development or automation
3. Dashboard development with Power BI
4. Technical documentation using Confluence or similar platforms

Skills:

1. Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
2. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
3. Self-driven and comfortable working in fast-changing environments
4. Eager to learn new tools and technologies
