Imagine Montessori School in Valencia seeks an Enrichment Programme & Language Academy Coordinator to lead the new Language Academy launch and oversee after-school enrichment and camps. You will manage staff, enrollments, and parent communications, ensuring CEFR-aligned courses and safe operations.
The role requires 2–3 years in education coordination, fluency in English and Spanish, and budgeting know-how, with a focus on family-centred experiences and continuous improvement.
We are Imagine Montessori School, the only British educational institution in Valencia that applies the Montessori methodology—a world-renowned, innovative approach focused on fulfilling each student's full potential through personalized education tailored to every stage of development. All this within a sustainable environment and a building that certainly turns heads.
We don't just teach here: we transform! We are committed to personalized education through experimentation, socialization, and the development of key skills. We foster independence, respect, growth, creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, a love for nature, and a sense of belonging to a community.
We are searching for someone with a background in Educational Programme Coordination, Language School Management, or Extracurricular Activity Operations who, reporting to Head of Admissions and External Relations, will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our Enrichment Programme and camps, as well as developing and launching Imagine’s new Language Academy.
Launching & Growing the Language Academy: Lead the end-to-end development of Imagine’s new Language Academy targeting a Summer 2027 launch for intensive courses. You’ll conduct local market research, design CEFR-aligned language courses, schedule classes and manage room allocation, recruit and coordinate teaching staff, oversee enrolments and student progress, and explore making Imagine an official exam preparation and testing centre (e.g., Cambridge, Trinity).
Managing Extracurriculars, Camps & Family Experiences: Oversee the smooth daily running of our Enrichment Programme beyond regular school hours. You’ll manage holiday camps throughout the year (Winter, Fallas, Easter, and Summer), coordinate external providers and instructors, and organize family initiatives like Weekend Family Experiences to optimize the use of our school facilities.
Handling Operations, Data & Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with internal school teams and the Head of Admissions and External Relations to align strategy and pricing. You’ll gather billing data, monitor operational budgets, margins, and costs, track occupancy and participant satisfaction, and ensure all activities strictly comply with child safety regulations (including staff-to-child ratios, criminal record checks, and insurance).
Driving Continuous Improvement & Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for families regarding enrichment and language programmes, maintaining clear and responsive communication while using operational data to measure success and identify new growth opportunities.
Proven Educational & Academy Coordination: 2–3 years of hands-on experience coordinating educational programmes or language schools, including direct responsibility for timetables, class grouping, instructor management, and enrolment workflows. Experience launching new courses or working within international/Montessori environments is a strong advantage.
Language Proficiency & Qualifications: A Degree or Higher Vocational Qualification in Education, Languages, Translation, Sociocultural Activities, or Business Administration. You are fluent in English (C1 level minimum) and Spanish (native or equivalent), with solid knowledge of the CEFR framework and official language certifications.
Operational & Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Google Workspace (especially advanced Google Sheets for tracking and data management) and school management platforms like Phidias. You also bring a clear understanding of basic cost monitoring, budgeting, and profit margins.
Key Soft Skills & Work Ethic: A strong service- and family-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to detail. You possess high autonomy and initiative to launch projects from scratch, strong multi-tasking skills under tight deadlines, and the operational flexibility needed during peak workload periods (e.g., term starts, enrolment pushes, and holiday camp launches).
