Academia Georgetown in Pamplona is seeking committed English teachers to join our team. The role is on-site in Pamplona, part-time, approximately 20–25 hours per week, with a commitment of one academic year. Start ASAP; applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

We value candidates with strong English grammar knowledge, excellent communication, leadership, and adaptability to new systems. Zoom hosting is a plus for occasional online/hybrid delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, English, Marketing, Communications, or Journalism.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills; digital competence.
• Prior English-teaching experience welcome but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess class and student levels and personalise resources accordingly.
• Mediate groups and motivate students to reach their goals using the Georgetown Method.
• Design and deliver dynamic, purpose-driven activities that encourage communication and effective learning.
• Deliver high-quality professional classes.
• Evaluate and document student progress (grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, writing, and speaking) and build tailored plans using the Georgetown Method.
• Document and report class and student progress to the Dean and Administration.

Academia Georgetown is an English language academy in Pamplona dedicated to maximising student learning for over 25 years. Through the Georgetown Method, we help students advance in their careers and prepare to study or work abroad — with a focus on efficiency, personalisation, and tangible results.

We are hiring committed, dynamic, goal-oriented professionals with a strong command of English to join our teaching team.

The role

• On-site in Pamplona (close to the historic city centre and the universities)
• Part-time: approximately 20–25 hours per week
• Commitment of one academic year

In-depth knowledge of English grammar, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and concisely

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new applications and systems
• Knowledge of Spanish is not required but is a strong asset
• Zoom host experience (breakout rooms, multiple screen sharing, classroom control) is a plus for occasional online/hybrid delivery

All new hires receive training — theoretical and practical — to become ALTEA-certified teachers and deliver engaging classes with both an academic and a professional focus.

High-performing teachers may access further training during the year to teach advanced, field-specific courses.
