We are looking for an experienced Editor for the ELT and Bilingual department at Santillana / Sanoma to work at our offices in Tres Cantos.

We seek a flexible, team-oriented professional with the following responsibilities:

1. Editing and Adaptation: Revise, edit, and adapt texts and activities provided by authors, adhering to editing criteria and style guides, ensuring high-quality output aligned with pedagogical and strategic objectives.
2. Content Creation: Develop content following guidelines set by the Editorial Portfolio Manager under supervision.
3. Graphic Coordination: Select and commission illustrations and graphic elements, ensuring their quality.
4. Model and Demo Development: Contribute to defining the structure of model units and demo materials.
5. Proofreading: Revise, proofread, and approve proofs.
6. Audio and Video Content: Edit and prepare audio scripts, write storyboards for audiovisual materials, and oversee their development.
7. Project Management: Manage project components, assign tasks to freelancers, and ensure timely delivery, coordinating with other departments.
8. Digital Content: Participate in creating, revising, and delivering digital content and products.
9. Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitors to ensure project relevance and quality.
10. Market Engagement: Visit schools and participate in market research to understand customer needs.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in textbook edition in ELT or CLIL.
• Native English speaker.

Valuable:

• Teaching experience in the bilingual market.
