Hitachi Energy is seeking an Engineering Manager-PT Tendering at its Global Engineering Center in Vadodara, India. You will lead the Power Transformer Tender Engineering team to deliver technically compliant tender solutions that drive growth and customer satisfaction.

The role focuses on resource planning, governance, standardization, and digitalization, ensuring timely tender execution across global markets, while collaborating with Sales, Factories, Product Management, SCM, and other teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• >12 years of experience in Design as an engineering manager.
• In-depth knowledge of Power Transformer.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Open to change, feedback, and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Tender Engineering team.
• Set team objectives, KPIs, and competency development plans.
• Drive talent acquisition, employee engagement, succession planning, and capability building.
• Oversee preparation and review of technical tenders for Power Transformer projects.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, technical standards, and business requirements.
• Manage technical risks, deviations, and solution optimization during tendering.
• Plan and allocate resources to meet tender volume and delivery commitments.
• Monitor workload, productivity, and utilization across the team.
• Ensure on-time and high-quality tender submissions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Factories, Product Management, SCM, and Global Engineering teams.
• Act as the key technical interface during customer discussions and clarifications.
• Support bid strategy and competitive positioning initiatives.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and engineering efficiency improvements.
• Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and digital engineering tools.
• Enable data-driven decision-making through KPI monitoring and reporting.

Stakeholder Management
