Job Description

About the team :

The New Ventures area leads innovation, developing new ventures and solutions that generate revenue. Currently, we focus on establishing a cohesive noa.ai ecosystem.

One flagship initiative is Noa Notes — an AI-powered solution that automates clinical note creation during patient consultations, extracting key medical info and generating structured notes to save time, improve workflow, and enhance patient care.

Role

We seek a strategic leader as Engineering Manager for the New Ventures / Noa Medic area. Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will manage multiple teams and initiatives, focusing on building high-performing teams, supporting organizational structure, and fostering professional growth. Your first six months will involve transitioning the Noa Notes project and supporting the development of Noa Skills, with a focus on product mindset, rapid iteration, and a co-founder approach.

Managing the team

• Lead a team of 8 senior software engineers.
• Guide technical decisions to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with technical and product leaders for strategy development.
• Ensure effective communication within and across teams.

Managing the project

• Define project scopes and objectives with stakeholders.
• Act as hands-on project manager and leader.
• Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage trade-offs.
• Support go-to-market strategies.

The organization of the area

• Support platform and infrastructure strategy development.
• Coordinate with Data Scientists and ML/Ops teams.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships.

Develop people

• Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching.
• Offer regular feedback and support career development.
• Assess and support team performance.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity.
