Job Description

About the team:

The New Ventures area pioneers innovative solutions to generate new revenue streams, focusing on establishing a cohesive noa.ai ecosystem. One flagship project is Noa Notes, which automates clinical note creation during patient consultations using advanced AI to extract and structure medical information, saving time and improving workflow.

Role

We seek a strategic Engineering Manager for the New Ventures / Noa Medic area. Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will lead multiple teams and initiatives, focusing on building high-performing teams, supporting organizational structure, and fostering professional growth. Your initial focus will be on transitioning the Noa Notes project to the relevant teams and enabling rapid development of new Noa Skills, requiring a product mindset, agility, and a partnership approach.

Managing the team

• Lead a team of 8 senior software engineers.
• Facilitate technical decisions aligned with requirements.
• Collaborate with technical and product leaders to develop strategies.
• Ensure effective communication within and across teams.

Managing the project

• Define project scopes and objectives with stakeholders.
• Act as a hands-on project manager and leader.
• Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Assess risks and manage trade-offs.
• Support go-to-market strategies.

Organizational responsibilities

• Develop platform and infrastructure strategies.
• Coordinate with Data Scientists and ML/Ops teams.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and teams.

People development

• Mentor and coach team members.
• Provide feedback and support career growth.
• Evaluate team performance regularly.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, inclusive culture.
