Job Description

About the team :

The New Ventures area leads innovation, developing new ventures and solutions to generate revenue. Our current focus is establishing a cohesive noa.ai ecosystem.

One flagship initiative is Noa Notes—an AI-powered solution to automate clinical notes during patient consultations. It listens to conversations, extracts key medical info, and generates structured notes, saving time and improving workflow and patient experience.

Role

We seek a strategic leader as Engineering Manager for New Ventures / Noa Medic. You will report to the Engineering Director, manage multiple teams, and support greenfield projects, staffing, process development, and AI/ML platform creation. Your initial focus will be on transitioning Noa Notes to the next phase, supporting rapid development of Noa Skills, and fostering a high-performance environment with a product and partner mindset.

Managing the team

  • Lead a team of 8 senior software engineers.
  • Facilitate technical decisions aligned with requirements.
  • Work with technical and product leaders to develop strategy.
  • Ensure effective communication within and across teams.

Managing the project

  • Define project scopes and objectives involving stakeholders.
  • Act as hands-on project manager and leader.
  • Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage trade-offs.
  • Support go-to-market strategies.

The organisation of the area

  • Support platform and infrastructure strategy development.
  • Coordinate with Data Scientists and ML/Ops teams.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, tech leaders, and legal/security teams.

Develop people

  • Mentor and coach team members.
  • Provide feedback and support career development.
  • Assess performance regularly.
  • Promote a collaborative, innovative, inclusive culture.
