Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of system design, architecture, and scalable systems.
• Experience with modern tech stacks (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, cloud platforms).
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers.
• Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, and career development planning.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Hire and onboard top engineering talent.
• Provide technical guidance and architectural direction.

• Participate in key technical decisions and code reviews.

• Own project planning, execution, and delivery timelines.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Establish and improve engineering processes (Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, etc.).
• Drive engineering metrics (velocity, quality, reliability).
• Ensure system performance, scalability, and security.
• Partner with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and leadership.
• Translate business goals into technical execution.
