CloudLinux is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Language Security Research function within TuxCare. You will own four teams focused on Java, JavaScript/Go, Python, and PHP, driving security patches for end-of-life runtimes and ensuring high-quality delivery across all language ecosystems.

You will define hiring plans, set standards for CVE analysis and backporting, and guide AI-assisted automation for patching.

Formación

• 6+ years hands-on software development across multiple language ecosystems.
• 3+ years of engineering leadership in a product company.
• Proven delivery accountability for team outcomes.
• Solid Java experience; other languages such as JavaScript, Go, Python, or PHP are a plus.
• Hands-on security research or vulnerability analysis: CVE triage, patch backporting, or similar.
• Ability to work effectively in distributed teams and larger organizations.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and external delivery expectations.
• Experience building or improving engineering processes from scratch.
• Experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and dependency tools (Maven/Gradle, npm, pip, Go modules).
• Upper-intermediate or higher English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Lead four language teams (Java, JavaScript/Go, Python, PHP) totaling 18 engineers.
• Define hiring plans, conduct performance reviews, and drive career development for reports.
• Set and enforce standards for CVE analysis, vulnerability assessment, and patch backporting.
• Drive consistency in tooling and workflows (CI/CD pipelines, patch delivery, release processes).
• Evaluate AI-assisted automation for backporting and vulnerability discovery.
• Serve as final technical escalation for cross-team security issues.
• Own SLA compliance across language platforms and align with client delivery expectations.
• Organize and improve development workflows and engineering processes.
• Coordinate internal documentation to reflect project state and dependencies between language, OS, and platform teams.
