CloudLinux is seeking an experienced Staff Engineer for KernelCare to build automation and high-reliability pipelines. The role combines hands-on software engineering (about 70%) with technical product ownership (about 30%), and requires independent work with minimal daily supervision.

You will own major product components, design scalable architectures, and collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product, and sales to deliver production-grade solutions.

Formación

• Proven experience owning major projects end-to-end.
• Strong backend engineering in Python.
• Comfortable reading C language code.
• Strong Linux background.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience turning unclear needs into technical plans.
• AI-assisted development tools in workflow.
• Balance short-term delivery with long-term design.

Responsabilidades

• Own major product components and workstreams through full lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, sales, and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Translate goals into technical plans, milestones, and tasks.
• Design scalable architecture and make key technical decisions.
• Build, review, and maintain production-grade components end-to-end.
• Ensure production operation and evolution of delivered components.
• Track progress and communicate results, blockers, risks, and dependencies.
• Research technologies, tools, and market approaches when needed.
• Contribute to engineering quality through reviews and best practices.
• Mentor and share technical guidance.
