Datadog, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager for Client SDKs in a hybrid setup. You will lead a team of senior engineers, drive CI/CD, and own release processes for SDKs used across customer apps. You will partner with product teams and shape developer experience at scale.

You will guide design-to-release, ensure compatibility, and explore AI coding agents to improve workflows while supporting a healthy, collaborative engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Experience managing software engineers including seniors.
• Shipped and maintained SDKs, libraries, or developer tools.
• Knowledge of release engineering, CI/CD, versioning, and backwards compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and grow a team of senior software engineers.
• Own CI and test infrastructure across SDK repos and provide local run frameworks.
• Define release cadences and manage breaking changes in SDKs.
• Maintain consistency with a shared specification and streamline shipping.
• Partner with product teams to guide SDK changes from design to release.
• Build feature sets for new product capabilities and support AI coding agents.
