Are you an experienced engineer who enjoys leading teams, shaping technical strategy, and staying hands-on with code? We're looking for an Engineering Manager to join our remote-first team in Spain. This role balances hands-on development with technical guidance for the team, ensuring high-quality, scalable software while mentoring engineers and driving best practices.

What You'll Do :

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering collaboration, growth, and technical excellence
• Provide guidance on architecture, coding standards, testing, and DevOps practices
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications using C#
• Implement efficient data access patterns using Entity Framework (EF Core) or ADO.NET
• Oversee database security, backup, and disaster recovery procedures
• Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes (K8S) using GitHub and Flux
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering initiatives with business goals
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of software systems

What We're Looking For :

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or technical lead role
• 4+ years of experience in C# and .NET development (ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework)
• Strong SQL Server skills, including query optimization and database design
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Familiarity with microservices, RESTful APIs, and DevOps practices
• Proven experience mentoring or managing engineers, driving best practices, and delivering technical guidance
• Understanding of logging / monitoring tools (Serilog, Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus
• Knowledge of message queuing systems (RabbitMQ or Kafka) is a plus
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
