Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe seeks a professional to join the Engineering Controlling Team. You will plan, control and steer the Engineering contribution to MRTT projects, acting as the financial partner across the project lifecycle from bidding to execution.

Key duties include delivering high-quality reports, supporting workload planning, and driving tool usage to improve efficiency. Strong analytical, bilingual (Spanish/English), and cross-functional collaboration skills are

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Management or equivalent.
• Experience in Function or Project/Program Controlling.
• Financially aware with strong business partnering.
• Experience in engineering environment is a plus.
• MS Office and Google workspace; Excel/Sheets.
• Spanish and English to negotiation level.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and independent working style.
• Critical thinking and constructive challenge of operations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team oriented; transnational environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, control and steer the Engineering contribution to MRTT projects.
• Serve as Business Partner to Chief Engineering, supporting financial lifecycle from bidding to execution.
• Deliver high-quality financial reports and ensure reporting clarity and consistency.
• Support workload planning cycles and ensure consistency with Programme funding.
• Improve utilization of financial tools (CMA, SimpliFi, UP) and existing systems.
