Ormco busca un Ingeniero de Software de I+D para unirse a nuestro equipo en Madrid. Desarrollarás software que soporta el flujo completo, desde pedido hasta diseño y fabricación, combinando C++, 3D y capacidades web modernas.

Trabajarás en una plataforma sofisticada y colaborarás con un equipo internacional de ingenieros y expertos en producto para definir características, diseñar soluciones y entregar valor con pruebas sólidas.

Formación

• Experiencia sólida en desarrollo C++.
• Conocimiento de WebAssembly (WASM) es un plus.
• Experiencia con Git, CI y trabajo en equipo.
• Buenas prácticas de pruebas (unitarias e integración).
• Inglés alto (B2+).
• Conocimiento de geometría 3D/algoritmos computacionales.
• Conocimiento de CGAL.
• Experiencia con AWS.
• Interés en herramientas IA (GitHub Copilot).

Responsabilidades

• Construcción de flujos de trabajo web sobre una plataforma 3D odontológica sofisticada.
• Contribuir a la evolución de la plataforma web llevando capacidades de escritorio al navegador con WebAssembly.
• Colaborar con un equipo global e interfuncional de ingenieros y expertos en producto.
• Contribuir al diseño de soluciones, arquitectura e innovación.
• Trabajar estrechamente con los Product Managers para refinar características y entregar valor.

As a Software Development Engineer, you’ll work on a sophisticated platform that supports the entire workflow — from order to design to manufacturing — combining C++, 3D technologies, and modern web capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Building web-based workflows and user-facing capabilities on top of a sophisticated 3D orthodontic platform
• Contributing to the evolution of our web platform by bringing desktop capabilities to the browser through WebAssembly and developing new workflow-driven features
• Collaborating with a global, cross-functional team of engineers and product experts
• Contributing to solution design, architecture, and innovation
• Working closely with Product Managers to refine features and deliver value

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience with C++ development. Exposure to WebAssembly (WASM) is a strong plus, and you’ll have the opportunity to deepen this expertise on the project.
• Solid understanding of software development workflows (Git, CI, collaboration)
• Solid testing practices (unit + integration tests)
• Good English communication skills (B2+)
• Nice to have Experience with 3D geometry / computational algorithms
• Familiarity with CGAL or similar libraries
• Experience with AWS or cloud-based execution of applications
• Interest in AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
