Responsibilities include defining test plans and ensuring compliance during project phases. Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, experience with Grid Code requirements, and programming skills in Python. Fluency in English is essential, with Spanish or German being an advantage.

Your Tasks

• Adopt the mentality of a product owner for Grid Code Compliance within Nordex.
• Ensure that each requirement has an associated test case.
• Translate Grid Code requirements into the software development process by abstracting software requirements and test cases. Be a member of an agile software development team.
• Support Grid Code compliance and connection during Sales and Project phases.
• Define test plans for Grid Code compliance and quality assurance at wind farm, wind turbine, and component levels.
• Perform, evaluate, and document Grid Code compliance tests.
• Analyze test data.
• Specify new functions and features to achieve, maintain, and optimize Grid Code compliance at wind farm and wind turbine levels.
• Maintain a clear understanding of Nordex products' capabilities to assess Grid Code compliance.
• Optimize processes within Grid Code compliance.

Your Profile

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or a related field.
• Experience with Grid Code requirements.
• Experience in defining test cases and ideally test-driven development.
• Good knowledge of Grid Code compliance at power plant and software levels, preferably with experience in wind turbine OEMs or similar.
• Programming experience in Python or similar languages supporting test analysis and automation.
• Self-responsible, structured, customer- and solution-oriented mindset.
• Intercultural understanding and ability to work collaboratively across teams and geographies.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written; Spanish and/or German is a plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Proactive, assertive, and a team player.
