Nordex Group in Madrid seeks an Engineer Geometrical System Integration to drive mechanical design for Wind Turbine modules (Blade, Hub, Nacelle). You will define space allocation, oversee design reviews with internal teams and external suppliers, and ensure layouts meet cross-functional requirements while reducing complexity and cost.

The role requires a Master in Mechanical Engineering, 5 years’ experience, strong CAD/PLM skills (Siemens NX/Teamcenter) and fluency in English; Spanish or German

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• Strong CAD and PLM skills, incl. Siemens NX/Teamcenter.
• Experience handling large assemblies and config management.
• Fluent in English; Spanish or German a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Define space allocation models and geometrical integration of systems in wind turbine layout.
• Prepare and moderate design reviews with Nordex and suppliers.
• Create layout design aligned with product management, engineering, production, logistics, service and HSE.
• Identify synergies across projects to reuse parts and reduce cost.

Your Tasks

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Engineer Geometrical System Integration. Within the Design and Integration team in TIE, they will be a key driver in the mechanical design for the modules Blade, Hub and Nacelle. Amongst others, you will perform the following tasks:

• Define space allocation models for components and perform the geometrical integration of systems in the wind turbine layout
• Prepare and moderate design reviews in collaboration with other departments inside Nordex and external suppliers
• Create the layout design considering geometrical requirements coming from Product Management, Engineering, Production, Logistics, Service and HSE
• Identify synergies across projects and products to increase reuse of parts and decrease complexity and cost
• Determine the scope of new design based on Engineering Change Request

Your Tasks

Your Profile

• Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering*
• 5 years of professional experience
• Deep knowledge in CAD and PLM tools, Siemens NX/Teamcenter preferred
• Comfortable in handling large assemblies
• Experience in the field of configuration management and modularisation
• Self-motivated and results-focused, with the ability to connect people, drive collaboration, and achieve objectives on time.
• Fluent English language skills required. Fluent Spanish/German will be a plus
• For foreign qualifications, recognition as the corresponding Spanish degree equivalency is required when applying.
