At 2EyesVision we CREATE, DEVELOP, AND MANUFACTURE the most innovative technologies in ophthalmology to ease the lives of both eye care professionals and their patients. We have proudly commercialized the SimVis Gekko and are currently developing many more products.

Here, you will join a diverse, talented, and innovative team with the GOALS of improving patients’ vision, bringing the SimVis Gekko to clinics around the world and globally expanding sales of a product with great projection in the international Ophthalmology market. We are located in Tres Cantos, a technological hub on the outskirts of the magnificent and vibrant city of Madrid, Spain.

Role

We are looking for a Full-stack Engineer with an interest in developing medical instruments, who will be instrumental in the growth and expansion of 2EyesVision.

You will work alongside the entire team and share all your experience and expertise. As a startup, we need a versatile individual with a desire to grow and transform with the company.

An ideal candidate will have a background in developing APPs for iOS and / or Backend and will have additional experience in working with hardware devices. He / she should have an interest in developing medical devices, enthusiasm about supporting the growth of the team, a desire to be challenged, and strong collaboration and communication skills, as well as interest in working in the dynamic, fast-paced and versatile environment of a start-up.

Responsibilities :

• Lead internal and external software team to develop and maintain APPs for iOS and the backend that supports the database for our applications to drive different instruments.
• To support the R&D and Manufacturing teams with the development of new algorithms and software for signal processing, image detection and process automation.
• To test and document software developments (including user manual, assembly or configuration instructions if required)
• To help with technical service to customers in software related issues.

Requirements :

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Software / Telecom Engineering or equivalent.
• Programming skills in Swift Code, Php, Mysql, Matlab and Python.
• Advanced English level.
• Testing and Failure Analysis of parts following problem-solving methods.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
• Attention to detail; ensuring accuracy in work.
• Ability to work as a team member, collaboratively and positively.
• Adjustment to change, resetting priorities, time management skills, resourcefulness, initiative.

Desirable :

• Knowledge of Apple distribution methods and Mobile Device Management.
• Knowledge of programming microcontrollers (e.g. Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
• Interest in technological development based on scientific advances.
