Larian Studios in Barcelona is seeking an Engine Programming Intern to join our team and help maintain and extend our proprietary engine, covering memory management, networking, ECS, and core systems.

You should have solid C++, a portfolio of personal projects, good English, and be a team player taking responsibility; willingness to work full-time on-site in Barcelona and contribute to design with the creative team.

Formación

• Solid knowledge of C++ and basic concepts (OOP, memory management).
• Portfolio of personal C++ projects with source code, not older than 2 years.
• Projects must be personal work; university coursework will not be considered.
• Applications must include coding examples.
• Open minded and willing to iterate on features.
• Strong English communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site at our Barcelona studio.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and extend the proprietary engine’s tech stack (memory management, networking, ECS, data structures, performance optimization, physics, animation).
• Collaborate with other departments to implement game components.
• Write robust, performant, maintainable code and participate in design and production of the game.
