Formación

At Bespoke Pixel, we have one goal : to create a masterpiece. We are an independent, fully funded studio working on a well-known IP, pushing boundaries in gameplay and quality. Our experienced team blends creativity with technical excellence, and we are looking for an Engine Programmer to join us.

THE ROLE

As a Senior Engine Programmer, you will be a key technical driver behind our project, ensuring our game runs smoothly, efficiently, and can scale across platforms. You will work at the heart of our game’s technology, developing and optimizing core systems and tools. Your work will empower our designers and artists to create a cutting-edge player experience while ensuring performance and stability across the board.

Engine Programmers are the foundation of a great game. You will work on systems that touch everything from rendering and physics to memory management and performance optimization. You will enable others to create without limits by developing robust systems and custom tools that unlock creative freedom. Your expertise will ensure our game feels seamless and performs beautifully on every platform.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong proficiency in C++ and low-level systems programming.
  • 5+ years of experience as an engine, systems, or low-level programmer (shipped titles preferred).
  • Experience with Unreal Engine is a major plus.
  • Expertise in performance optimization, memory management, and multi-threading.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Experience working across multiple platforms (console, PC).
  • Ability to build tools and systems that empower designers and artists.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Passion for creating powerful, stable, and efficient technology.

Duties

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain core engine systems within Unreal Engine 5.
  • Improve performance across multiple platforms and ensure the game runs smoothly.
  • Collaborate with gameplay programmers, designers, and artists to ensure the engine supports their needs.
  • Build custom tools and pipelines to empower the entire development team.
  • Profile and debug performance bottlenecks across CPU, GPU, and memory.
  • Ensure our engine tech is future-proof, scalable, and built to support innovation.
  • Solve complex technical challenges, ensuring our systems are robust and efficient.
  • Mentor junior programmers and contribute to shaping our development practices.
