Formación

• 7-10 años de experiencia en contabilidad en una gran empresa o firma contable.
• Dominio de estándares IFRS y comprensión de US GAAP.

Responsabilidades

• Gestionar cierres mensuales, trimestrales y anuales.
• Preparar impuestos y gestionar cuentas por cobrar.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The person we are looking for will be responsible for accounting, taxes duties, business control and reporting. She / he needs to be familiar with legalities and accounting structure in France as he / she will propose how the office must be structured accounting wise. The position’ holder will have to be the most reliable connection between the local business and the corporate operation.

Responsibilities:

• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Reporting on the closings and company’s financial health and liquidity.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Preparation of VAT and other French taxes & Italian taxes.
• Manage accounts receivable, following up on invoices when necessary.
• Bookkeeping for vendors: Book vendors properly with the right documentation, Report vendor information to the government.
• Payroll and social security statements.
• Help establish company best practices related to accounting.
• Examine financial statements and records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate regularly with the Accounting office.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in an accounting role in a large company or an accounting important firm.
• High knowledge of IFRS standards and understanding of US GAAP standards.
• Be familiar with legalities and accounting structure in France to ensure that the company adheres to applicable local and national regulations that impact finances.
• Good communication skills to interact with staff, providers and clients.
• Able to work in a complex organization.
• Detail orientated.
• High level of Excel.
• Able to work autonomously.
• Full professional proficiency in both French and English.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• Experience in media, communication, creative, advertising or fashion industry would be a plus.
• Knowledge and experience working with producers and production accounting.
