A leading energy company is seeking an Energy Management Intern to assist in the development of energy management strategies and participate in the supervision of revenues within the energy market. This intern will play a key role in negotiating energy sales contracts and analyzing renewable technology integration opportunities while benefiting from the support of experienced professionals in the field.

Formación

  • Professional fluency in English is required, other languages valued.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Graduate or Master’s degree in relevant engineering fields is expected.

We are seeking a talented Energy Management Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our energy management strategy and work closely with our experienced professionals.

Our company specializes in providing integrated solutions across the entire lifecycle of clean energy, from the promotion, development, and construction of wind farms, photovoltaic plants, and hydroelectric power stations, to their operation, maintenance, and the sale of the generated clean energy.

The Energy Management team is responsible for leading the definition and implementation of the trading strategy of the energy produced by our power plants across +10 different geographies.

This role involves supervision and management of revenues and costs derived from the electricity market participation strategy in Europe, the United States, and South America.

In addition, the successful candidate will support the department in negotiating long-term energy sales contracts with clients in global markets (PPAs).

Analysis of opportunities for hybridizing renewable technologies with storage or hydrogen solutions is also an essential part of this role.

Support in the preparation of presentations and strategic analyses for management decision-making is another key responsibility.

Required skills and qualifications :

  • Graduate in Engineering (Industrial, Energy, Electrical or similar) and / or Master in Electric Power Industry (MEPI), Master in Renewable Energy or similar.
