The Employee Relations Specialist at 2K Madrid plays a crucial role in maintaining a positive, productive workplace by managing employee relations issues and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. Responsibilities include guiding managers and employees on conflict resolution, performance management, grievances, and policy interpretation, as well as conducting investigations and implementing engagement initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Conflict Resolution : Mediate disputes, facilitate discussions, and foster better working relationships.
  • Performance Management : Support managers with performance improvement, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring legal and policy compliance.
  • Policy Interpretation : Clarify and apply company policies and employment laws.
  • Investigations : Conduct impartial inquiries into complaints related to harassment, discrimination, or other workplace issues.
  • Compliance : Ensure adherence to relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Employee Engagement : Collaborate with HR / L+D Trainers to develop initiatives that boost engagement, satisfaction, and retention, including training related to ER.
  • Documentation : Keep accurate, confidential records of cases and outcomes.
  • Reporting : Generate reports on employee relations trends for management review.
  • Advisory Role : Act as a trusted advisor to managers and staff on ER matters.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :

  • Experience : 3-5 years in HR, focusing on employee relations or similar areas.
  • Education : Bachelor’s in Human Resources or related field; HR certifications like SHRM or PHR are a plus.
  • Skills : Conflict resolution, communication, employment law knowledge, analytical thinking, discretion, organizational skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
