Amazon is seeking a Senior Project Manager, EMEA Construction (Power & Water) to lead water infrastructure projects from concept through commissioning and handover.

You will oversee civil, mechanical, process, controls, and environmental disciplines, navigate regulatory requirements, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence on site across multiple locations in EMEA. This role requires strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or an equivalent engineering science.
• 7+ years of experience in construction management of large, complex projects involving large-scale MEP plants.
• Understand mechanical and civil engineering principles for water systems.
• General contractor and vendor management experience (RFPs, bidding, change orders) associated with construction and project execution.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee construction management and oversight of water infrastructure projects in EMEA.
• Travel up to 40% of the time.
• Own the project scope, timeline, and budget.
• Interface with general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and closeout phases.
• Work with vendors to deliver high-quality project turn-overs in line with electrical utility requirements.
• Lead negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids/proposals with detail and accuracy.
• Create construction project scope and RFPs.
• Perform capital requests and financial analysis including change orders, purchase orders, and invoicing.
• Review construction submittals and support commissioning.
• Record and report key construction metrics to the team and management.
• Drive teams to perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of equipment or electrical failures.
• Be a leader within the group and across internal/external teams supporting data center projects.
