Job summary

BD in Barcelona is seeking an EMEA QTC Process Lead, Quoting & Contracting to shape end-to-end quoting, contracting, and tendering across EMEA. You will drive a customer-centric, value-adding QtC function with robust governance and process excellence.

You will support system implementations, define requirements, coordinate UAT, and ensure readiness for deployment while partnering with BU, finance and legal to optimize quote, contract and tender outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or related field.
• Master’s degree or CFA/PMP certifications are highly desirable.
• 5–7 years of experience in quoting, contracting, tendering, or Quote-to-Cash processes in a global organization.
• Proven experience in driving process transformation, system implementations, or large-scale improvements.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and matrixed-team management capabilities.
• Lean Management skills with Lean Six Sigma certification an asset.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (LOTS, S4 Hana, JDE) and tools (SFDC, Conga, OCPQ).
• High level of attention to detail for quoting, contract and tender accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Drive the evolution of the contracts and tender function into a value-adding, customer-centric capability within QtC.
• Support implementation of new system capabilities, including defining business requirements and coordinating UAT.
• Equip teams with tools and mindset to deliver strategic outcomes in quoting, contracting, and tendering.
• Anticipate market dynamics and customer needs to support pricing and tender strategies.
• Strengthen processes, governance, and controls for scalability and compliance.
• Promote continuous improvement with automation and digital solutions.
• Identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Collaborate with BU, finance, and legal for seamless quote, contract, and tender execution.
• Monitor KPIs like cycle times, error rates, and customer satisfaction.
