EMEA Procurement Manager : Manufacturing Operations – Barcelona (Hybrid) – €65,000-€70,000 + package

An international manufacturing services business has recently transformed their global procurement function and seeks a strong manufacturing engineering procurement professional to join their EMEA Procurement Centre of Excellence in Barcelona, leading on regional spend across industrial services including Manufacturing Operations, MRO, Waste, Environment Sustainability, and Engineering Solutions.

The primary mission of the role is to develop a cohesive category strategy across the EMEA region and work across various global business units to ensure quality, safety, and value, as well as reducing complexity and driving the sustainability agenda within the €50m category.

Key stakeholders will include plant managers, operations directors, and engineering leaders across the global business.

Role Responsibilities :

1. Develop category strategy to drive value, deliver savings, and create a sustainability agenda.
2. Collaborate extensively with global cross-functional stakeholders to ensure optimal sourcing practice and drive initiatives to reduce sourcing complexity.
3. Ensure security of supply in challenging global markets.

Key Skills and Attributes Required :

1. Strong global / regional procurement background within industrial manufacturing, engineering, or waste / environment sectors.
2. Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills at a regional / global level.
3. Strong relationship builder capable of leading global, regional, and local projects.
