Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in Valencia, Spain, is seeking an Associate Manager, Supply Chain & Logistics Procurement to shape sourcing across transport, warehousing and logistics services in the EMEA region.

You will lead market reviews, tenders, supplier evaluations, and negotiations, partnering with business teams to deliver savings, performance improvements, and operational excellence, with exposure to APAC and global initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• Hands-on experience managing external suppliers, including sourcing, cost review, negotiation, performance follow-up, savings delivery and contracting.

Responsibilities

• Shape sourcing strategies for transport and logistics services, leading market reviews, tenders, supplier evaluations and negotiations.
• Build relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, parcel providers, and warehouse partners to improve reliability, quality and sustainability.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, rate cards, renewals, service levels and terms to protect business delivery.
• Use spend data and cost models to identify savings and develop sound business cases with clear value delivery.
• Coordinate priorities across countries, functions and business units to move sourcing projects forward.
