EMEA IT SAP Financials Business Process Architect (EMEA SAP FI-CO BPA)

is responsible to support the planning and execution of the IT Strategy for the EMEA Region. The mission is to drive the adoption of a global model based on the US SAP ECC system, rolling out the solution in the European companies. He reports to the EMEA IT ERP Program Lead and will be responsible for executing the activities assigned to him. He / she is responsible for analyzing, developing, and deploying the GPI SAP solution in close interaction with the EU Business Process Enablers and the Local Referents. He / she contributes to the evolution of the platform to meet new requirements in line with the defined IT strategy.

This role can be based in Spain or Poland.

You will add value to the company and team by:

• Carrying out the roll-out of the GPI US SAP system in the Controlling and Finance area in the EMEA region.
• Building in-depth process knowledge and supporting current business and operational processes such as:
• Product costing controlling / Variance analysis
• Sales & Profitability Controlling (CO-PA)
• Project System controlling
• Finance (GL, AP, AR, AA, SL)
• Operational and Group Reporting
• Integration with SAP S/4HANA Central Finance (CFIN)
• Demonstrating knowledge of key touchpoints and integration with SAP MM / SD / PP modules.
• Acting as a bridge between business and IT departments, ensuring smooth communication.
• Working closely with internal US / EMEA IT teams and external vendors.
• Supporting S/4HANA migration post ECC rollout.
• Managing application maintenance and support, troubleshooting, modifications, documentation, and user training.
• Participating in projects and reporting to the Program Lead.

You are a key element in the SAP EMEA Centre of Excellence, requiring:

• Facilitating stakeholder negotiations.
• Business Process Modelling (BPMN, Process Diagrams, etc.).
• Contributing to system design, data migration, and detailed specifications.
• Supporting data cleansing and uploads.

Main interactions:

• Internal: Business teams, IT (Application, Technical, Security).
• External: Consulting firms, SAP, vendors.

Responsibilities include defining test strategies, executing testing, delivering solutions on time and budget, driving change, understanding business needs, and effective communication.

As part of the program, the main tasks of the EMEA IT FI-CO BPA are:

• Designing, improving, and guarding the global solution.
• Gathering and consolidating process knowledge and best practices.
• Supporting solution design with local and global experts.
• Developing SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
• Organizing and supporting testing activities, documenting configurations, and ensuring defect resolution.
• Supporting data migration, cut-over activities, and post-go-live support.
• Contributing to roll-out strategy and roadmap.

Skills & competences needed:

• 7+ years of professional experience in SAP CO.
• 5+ years in SAP FI modules.

Experience with large IT transformation programs, SAP design and customization, preferably in Printing/Packaging or Consumer Products industries. Strong business process background. Knowledge of EDIs, LSMW, BAPIs, BADIs, and enhancements. Familiarity with WinShuttle, basic ABAP, and S/4HANA. Proficiency with MS Office, project management tools, and IS tools.

Post-graduate studies (Master's in IT, Engineering, Scientific disciplines, or Economics). Fluent English mandatory; additional European languages (French, Spanish, Dutch, German) are a plus.
