Job Description:

The EMEA IT SAP Financials Business Process Architect (EMEA SAP FI-CO BPA) is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of the IT Strategy for the EMEA Region. The mission is to drive the adoption of a global model based on the US SAP ECC system, rolling out the solution in the European companies. He/she reports to the EMEA IT ERP Program Lead and will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and deploying the GPI SAP solution in close interaction with EU Business Process Enablers and Local Referents. The role involves contributing to the evolution of the platform to meet new requirements aligned with the IT strategy.

This position can be based in Spain or Poland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the rollout of the GPI US SAP system in the Controlling and Finance areas across EMEA.
• Develop deep process knowledge and support current business and operational processes such as Product Costing Controlling, Variance Analysis, Sales & Profitability Controlling (CO-PA), Project System Controlling, Financials (GL, AP, AR, AA, SL), Operational and Group Reporting, and SAP S4 Central Finance (CFIN).
• Ensure smooth integration with SAP modules MM/SD/PP and support SAP S/4HANA migration post ECC rollout.
• Manage application maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications, and enhancements within the EMEA team.
• Document processes and deliver user training.
• Participate in projects and report to the Program Lead.
• Facilitate stakeholder negotiations, model business processes, and support data migration activities.
• Support testing activities and ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
• Drive change management and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of professional experience in SAP CO and 5 years in SAP FI modules.
• Proven experience in implementing large IT transformation programs in international settings.
• Strong background in Financial business processes, preferably in Printing/Packaging or Consumer Products industries.
• Knowledge of SAP enhancements, ABAP basics, and S/4HANA capabilities.
• Post-graduate degree in IT, Engineering, Scientific disciplines, or Economics.
• Fluent English is mandatory; additional European languages are a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Autonomous, rigorous, and results-driven with a service-oriented mindset.
