A global packaging solutions provider is seeking an EMEA IT SAP Financials Business Process Architect based in Spain or Poland. This role involves managing the rollout of the GPI US SAP system in Finance and Controlling across the EMEA region. Successful candidates will have extensive experience in SAP CO, knowledge of financial processes, and strong communication skills. An advanced degree in IT or Engineering is required, along with fluency in English.

Formación

• 7 years of professional experience in SAP CO, with 5 years in SAP.
• Strong background in the printing, packaging, or consumer products industries.
• Basic ABAP knowledge is a plus.

EMEA IT SAP Financials Business Process Architect (EMEA SAP FI-CO BPA)

This role supports the planning and execution of the IT Strategy for the EMEA Region. The mission is to drive the adoption of a global model based on the US SAP ECC system, rolling out the solution in European companies. The architect reports to the EMEA IT ERP Program Lead and is responsible for analyzing, developing, and deploying the GPI SAP solution in close interaction with EU Business Process Enablers and Local Referents. They contribute to the evolution of the platform to meet new requirements aligned with the IT strategy.

This position can be based in Spain or Poland.

The main responsibilities include:

1. Carrying out the rollout of the GPI US SAP system in Controlling and Finance within the EMEA region.
2. Developing in-depth process knowledge to support current business and operational processes such as Product Costing Controlling, Variance Analysis, Sales & Profitability Controlling (CO-PA), Project System Controlling, and Finance (GL, AP, AR, AA, SL).
3. Ensuring integration with SAP modules like MM, SD, and PP, and supporting SAP S/4HANA migration after ECC rollout.
4. Managing application maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications, documentation, and user training.
5. Acting as a liaison between business and IT, facilitating communication and understanding.
6. Supporting data cleansing activities and data uploads.
7. Supporting testing and deployment activities, including defining test scenarios and executing tests.

Skills and competencies required:

• 7 years of professional experience in SAP CO, with 5 years in SAP.
• Experience in large IT transformation programs in international environments.
• Strong background in SAP design and customization, especially in printing, packaging, or consumer products industries.
• Knowledge of financial business processes, EDI, LSMW, BAPIs, BADIs, and enhancement methods.
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA and basic ABAP knowledge.
• Post-graduate degree (Master in IT, Engineering, Economics, or Scientific disciplines).
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
