A leading company in the packaging industry is seeking an EMEA IT SAP Financials Business Process Architect based in Spain. This role involves leading the rollout of a global SAP model across Europe, requiring extensive experience in SAP CO and FI, strong design skills, and the ability to facilitate communication between business and IT. Candidates should have a Master’s degree and be fluent in English, with additional languages being an advantage.

Formación

EMEA IT SAP Financials Business Process Architect (EMEA SAP FI-CO BPA)

is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of the IT Strategy for the EMEA Region. The role involves driving the adoption of a global model based on the US SAP ECC system and rolling out the solution across European companies. The architect reports to the EMEA IT ERP Program Lead and executes assigned activities. Key responsibilities include analyzing, developing, and deploying the GPI SAP solution in collaboration with EU Business Process Enablers and Local Referents. The role also contributes to evolving the platform to meet new requirements aligned with the IT strategy.

This role can be based in Spain or Poland.

The main tasks involve:

1. Carrying out the rollout of the GPI US SAP system in Controlling and Finance within the EMEA region.
2. Developing in-depth process knowledge to support current business and operational processes such as Product Costing, Variance Analysis, Sales & Profitability Controlling (CO-PA), Project System Controlling, and Finance (GL, AP, AR, AA, SL).
3. Ensuring integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) and with SAP S/4HANA Central Finance (CFIN).
4. Acting as a liaison between business and IT departments to facilitate communication.
5. Supporting S/4HANA migration after ECC rollout.
6. Managing application maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications, documentation, and user training.
7. Participating in projects and reporting to the Program Lead.
8. Facilitating stakeholder negotiations, business process modeling, system design, data migration, and testing.

Required skills include:

• 7+ years of experience in SAP CO, with at least 5 years in SAP FI.
• Experience with large IT transformation programs in complex, international environments.
• Strong SAP design and customization skills, preferably in Printing/Packaging or Consumer Products industries.
• Knowledge of business processes, EDIs, LSMW, BAPIs, BADIs, and enhancement techniques.
• Familiarity with WinShuttle, ABAP basics, and S/4HANA.
• Post-graduate degree (Master’s) in IT, Engineering, or related fields.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
