EMEA IT SAP Financials Business Process Architect (EMEA SAP FI-CO BPA)
is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of the IT Strategy for the EMEA Region. The mission is to drive the adoption of a global model based on the US SAP ECC system, rolling out the solution in European companies. He/she reports to the EMEA IT ERP Program Lead and is responsible for executing assigned activities. He/she analyzes, develops, and deploys the GPI SAP solution in close interaction with EU Business Process Enablers and Local Referents. He/she contributes to the platform's evolution to meet new requirements in line with the IT strategy.
This role can be based in Spain or Poland.
The key tasks include:
- Carrying out the rollout of the GPI US SAP system in the Controlling and Finance area within EMEA.
- Building in-depth process knowledge and supporting current business and operational processes such as product costing controlling, variance analysis, sales & profitability controlling (CO-PA), project system controlling, finance (GL, AP, AR, AA, SL), operational and group reporting, and integration with SAP S/4HANA Central Finance.
- Demonstrating knowledge of SAP modules like MM, SD, and PP, and ensuring smooth communication between business and IT departments.
- Supporting SAP S/4HANA migration post ECC rollout.
- Managing application maintenance and support, troubleshooting, documentation, training, and participating in projects reporting to the Program Lead.
Required competencies include:
- Facilitating stakeholder requirements negotiation.
- Business Process Modelling (BPMN, Process Diagram).
- Delivering system design elements and data migration rules.
- Supporting data cleansing and uploads.
- Interacting with internal teams and external vendors.
- Contributing to testing strategies and validation.
Qualifications and skills:
- 7+ years of experience in SAP CO, 5+ years in SAP overall.
- Experience with large IT transformation programs in complex international environments.
- Strong SAP CO and FI module knowledge, preferably in Printing/Packaging or Consumer Products industries.
- Knowledge of EDI, LSMW, BAPIs, BADIs, and enhancement techniques; familiarity with WinShuttle and ABAP debugging.
- Understanding of S/4HANA in the relevant area.
- Post-graduate degree in IT, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
