A leading packaging company is seeking an experienced EMEA IT SAP Financials Business Process Architect. This role involves leading the rollout of a global SAP ECC model, ensuring integration with SAP S/4HANA, and acting as a liaison between business and IT. Candidates should have over 7 years of SAP CO experience, strong project management skills, and a post-graduate degree. Excellent communication skills are essential. This position is based in Spain or Poland.

EMEA IT SAP Financials Business Process Architect (EMEA SAP FI-CO BPA)

This role supports the planning and execution of the IT Strategy for the EMEA Region, focusing on driving the adoption of a global SAP ECC model and rolling out solutions across European companies. The architect reports to the EMEA IT ERP Program Lead and is responsible for analyzing, developing, and deploying the GPI SAP solution in collaboration with EU Business Process Enablers and Local Referents. The role also involves contributing to the platform's evolution to meet new requirements aligned with the IT strategy.

Location: Spain or Poland

Main Responsibilities:

1. Lead the rollout of the GPI US SAP system in the EMEA Controlling and Finance areas.
2. Develop in-depth process knowledge, supporting business and operational processes such as Product Costing, Variance Analysis, CO-PA, Project System, and Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, SL).
3. Ensure integration with SAP S/4HANA and manage application maintenance and support within the EMEA team, including troubleshooting, modifications, and user training.
4. Act as a liaison between business and IT, facilitating communication and understanding.
5. Participate in project execution, reporting to the Program Lead, and contribute to the SAP Center of Excellence.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• At least 7 years of professional experience in SAP CO, with 5 years in SAP implementations.
• Experience in large IT transformation programs within complex, international environments, preferably in Printing, Packaging, or Consumer Products industries.
• Strong knowledge of SAP CO and FI modules, business processes, and related technical skills including EDIs, LSMW, BAPIs, BADIs, and ABAP basics.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, WinShuttle, and project management tools.
• Post-graduate degree (Master's level) in IT, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
