Job summary

BNP Paribas España is seeking a Liquidity Reporting Analyst to produce essential financial reporting and support liquidity management for EMEA entities. You will join the Madrid or Lisbon hub, ensuring data reliability and strong controls across the region.

You will deliver accurate reporting packages to stakeholders, monitor liquidity data quality, and explain monthly liquidity evolutions. Candidates with Python/VBA/SQL and BI tool experience are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master’s in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 4 years of experience in Banking Finance (Accounting, Reporting, or Analysis).
• Advanced English skills; French or other European languages are a plus.
• Solid understanding of banking balance sheets and their main components.
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF) and SAP BI.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of Python, VBA, SQL, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is appreciated.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Liquidity Reporting Analyst, you will produce essential financial reporting and provide the analysis required to manage liquidity for BNP Paribas EMEA entities. You will be based in our Madrid or Lisbon hub, ensuring the reliability and control of financial data across the region.

• Execute all necessary controls to ensure data reliability and formalize justifications.
• Deliver accurate and timely reporting packages to all key stakeholders.
• Monitor and control data quality used in the valuation of liquidity parameters.
• Explain monthly evolutions in liquidity ratios through detailed summary reports.
• Participate in tool upgrade projects and identify improvements in production workflows.

PROFILE & SKILLS

• You hold a degree or Master’s in Accounting or Finance.
• You have at least 4 years of experience in Banking Finance (Accounting, Reporting, or Analysis).
• You possess advanced English skills; French or other European languages are a plus.
