Job summary

BME - Bolsas y Mercados Españoles in Madrid offers a Data Analyst role with a hybrid model (up to 40% remote). You will join the REGIS-TR Data Intelligence team to ensure high-quality reporting under EMIR, UK EMIR, SFTR, and FinfraG, collaborating across IT, Operations, and Product to meet regulatory obligations.

The role emphasizes building dashboards, data quality checks, and delivering insightful analytics to improve transparency for clients and authorities.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with hands-on data experience in Python/SQL/PowerBI.
• Experience in data quality or regulatory reporting is a plus (EMIR, UK EMIR, SFTR, FinfraG, MiFIR).
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Clear, structured communication in English and Spanish.

Would you like to support a collaborative team that ensures high-quality reporting services for our customers? Then our REGIS-TR Data Intelligence team would like to meet you. We are a committed team responsible for supporting regulatory reporting under EMIR, UK EMIR, SFTR, and FinfraG. Our mission is to improve data quality, strengthen reporting processes and enable our clients to meet their regulatory obligations efficiently. In this position, you will work closely with IT, Operations, Product, other teams to ensure regulatory compliance and support customers and Authorities.

What You Will Do

• Build, maintain, and automate data quality checks and analytical dashboards using Python and SQL.
• Analyze reporting data to identify inconsistencies and improve reporting processes.
• Support operational teams with insights on reconciliation issues, data patterns, and regulatory metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality, documentation, and reporting transparency

What You Bring

• Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience working with data using Python, SQL, PowerBI or similar
• Experience in data quality, or regulatory reporting is an advantage (EMIR, UK EMIR, SFTR, FinfraG, MiFIR)
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Clear and structured communication skills with attention to detail Languages: fluent in English and Spanish (both verbal & writing)
