Formación

  • 5-7+ years of industry technical experience in sales.
  • Major certifications (2-4 preferred) supporting assigned technology.
  • Specific knowledge of vendor tools relevant to the technology practice area.

Descripción del empleo

Demonstrate solution design with high technical skills, leveraging a consultative sales approach, vendor partnerships, and managing multiple projects. Must have the ability to meet face-to-face with customers to influence sales, with strong presentation skills targeted at C-level executives.

  • Partner internally and externally to design and provide technology solutions.
  • Anticipate potential problems with solutions, acting proactively to ensure accuracy, consistency, and excellence in design and support.
  • Own corrective actions and follow-up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Foster and enable strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Leverage technology, expertise, and understanding of reseller's business to facilitate growth.
  • Manage and deliver multiple projects according to SLAs.
  • Maintain certifications and vendor knowledge through ongoing self-education (approximately 5%-10%).
  • Exemplify team leadership by coaching and mentoring others.
  • Contribute to social media channels with authoritative, informative content.
  • Provide short-form, on-demand training to resellers to enhance sales understanding.
  • Participate in C-level briefings and presentations.
  • Additional duties as assigned, including maintaining attendance and punctuality, configuring and maintaining demonstration labs, and developing entry-level PoC.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • HS / GED required; Technical or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Major certifications (2-4 preferred) supporting assigned technology / vendor.
  • 5-7+ years of industry technical experience, including creating and delivering Statements of Work (SoWs) and Bills of Materials (BoMs), with 5 years in consultative sales and implementation.
  • Specific knowledge of vendor tools relevant to the technology practice area.
  • Advanced understanding of ROI, market trends, and comparative analysis.
  • Ability to make sound decisions on-site for complex solutions, supporting design, proof of concept, staging, configuration, and implementation.
