DOGA is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join its Electronic Laboratory team in Spain. You will validate embedded software for electric motors and control units, and develop automated testing tools, test benches, and processes to ensure quality and reliability.

Role involves designing validation strategies, executing tests, creating automation frameworks, and collaborating across software, electronics, quality, and manufacturing teams for product releases.

Competenze

• Degree in Electronic, Telecommunications or Computer Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in embedded software validation, test automation or similar role.
• Hands-on experience developing testing tools or test infrastructure.
• Programming skills in C, C++ and Python for test automation and software tools.
• Knowledge of CAN, CANopen and LIN, including protocol analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation, data acquisition and interpreting electronic schematics.
• Familiarity with version control and collaborative development.
• Advanced Spanish and English.
• Analytical, proactive and able to work independently while collaborating with software/hardware engineers.

• Analyse product requirements and define validation strategies, test cases and acceptance criteria.
• Design and execute functional, integration and regression tests for embedded software and motor control systems.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and supporting software tools.
• Build and improve test benches, instrumentation and simulation environments.
• Introduce and improve continuous integration, static analysis and automated test execution.
• Analyse results, investigate defects and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare validation reports and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with software, electronics, quality, product engineering and manufacturing teams to support product releases.
