In this position, you will design and execute comprehensive test plans, work with Jira and automated tools like Selenium or Cypress, and contribute to process improvements while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

Our client, a leading software development company in A Coruña, is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join their growing team. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a balance between working from home and collaborating in our modern A Coruña office. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's software products through comprehensive testing strategies. The ideal candidate has a passion for identifying bugs, improving processes, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality software. You'll be working with a talented group of professionals dedicated to technological excellence in the heart of Galicia.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Automate testing processes where possible to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA methodologies and processes.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure that resolved issues do not reoccur.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability.
• Create and maintain test documentation.

Requirements
