GMV seeks engineers to develop certifiable embedded software for defense applications, focusing on navigation systems and avionics. The role involves hardware/software integration, documentation, and rigorous testing review, with a hybrid work setup and relocation options for international candidates.

The ideal candidate has a background in aeronautical/embedded systems, strong C/C++, Python, Linux/RTOS skills, and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git) and DO-178C standards.

Formación

• Degree in Computer, Telecommunications, Industrial, or Aeronautical Engineering or similar with embedded software experience.

Job Overview

We are expanding our teams in the Defense sector to develop embedded systems and critical navigation software for defense applications.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of certifiable software.
• Development of technical software documentation.
• Hardware/software integration activities.
• Review of testing results (including unit tests, code coverage, integration, and system-level tests, etc.).

Qualifications

• Computer, Telecommunications, Industrial, or Aeronautical Engineer or similar background with experience in embedded software development and interest in aeronautical systems.
• Knowledge of software development including programming in C/C++, Python, Linux, RTOS.
• Knowledge of software integration activities (e.g., CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, Git) and software/hardware integration.
• Knowledge of software development standards, in particular DO-178C.
• Knowledge of avionics systems.
• Knowledge of navigation systems.
