Securecell AG is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to innovate and develop embedded software for biotechnology devices. This role involves collaboration with various specialists, handling multiple stages of product development from prototyping to production. Applicants should possess a relevant engineering degree and experience in embedded systems with C++, ideally having knowledge of STM32 or ESP32 microcontrollers.

EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER BIOTECH DEVICES

We are looking for a Embedded Software Engineer for Biotech Devices

EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER

You design and develop embedded software for our new Biotech products, and work on products that arein different phases of our product development (prototyping up to production). In your role, you ensure to get all required information from our System Engineers and technical teammates to drive and conduct the development in our team. You work closely with internal and external industry and technology specialists. By taking ownership, you make sure to provide, with other team members and external partners, solutions based on embedded microcontrollers. You oversee maintaining and further developing existing solutions. Documentation and testing are an integral part of your work.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have an engineering degree (ETH / FH) in informatics (with know-how in electronics) or electronics (with further education in software / firmware development), or a similar education
• You already have a couple of years of experience in application development on embedded microcontroller systems with C++
• You have experience with MCUs like STM32 or ESP32
• You are ready to take responsibility for individual projects, and you are used to a structured, pragmatic work approach, to work out solutions that meet our functional and quality requirements
• Besides your solution-oriented professional expertise, you also like to show innovative thinking
• You are enthusiastic about grasping and demonstrating complex interrelationships and are a very independent, solution-oriented, and analytical team player with the initiative as well as pronounced communication skills, showing very high doer capabilities. English is required, German is a plus
• You have a valid work permit for Switzerland
